MDF ScholarshipMotyka Dannin Foundation Forgivable Loan Guidelines The Motyka Dannin Osteopathic Educational Foundation, Inc. (Motyka Dannin Foundation) was formed at the initiative of the Indiana Osteopathic Association (IOA) to raise and distribute funds primary in support of osteopathic medicine. This includes scholarships, grants for research, seminars, and similar programs. Scholarships are provided in the form of forgivable loans. The recipient of the 2022 forgivable loan will be awarded and recognized during the Awards Presentation at IOA's 2022 Winter Update on Saturday, December 3, 2022, in Indianapolis. Forgivable Loan Agreement: The student selected for the forgivable loan shall be required to practice family medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, general internal medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, general pediatrics, or obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) in Indiana for not less than 24 months (“Commitment Period”) following Residency. In the event the student fails to complete the commitment period, the student shall be required to make full repayment of the Forgivable Loan.
